Question from britto.bharathy : "Which is a better laptop in terms of gaming and multi tasking"

The 14-bf125tx is better for multi-tasking due to its higher core count (4 cores/8 threads vs 2 cores/4 threads of the x360) and higher/faster RAM (12GB 2400MHz vs 8GB 2133MHz of the x360).

However, both are just geared towards office-work use and not considered as gaming laptops (slow 5400rpm HDD, weak GTX 940MX GPU, weak CPUs).
Hi J_E_D_7_0

Thanks so much how abt the below as im planning to take a suitable laptop bkth for learning and games

Intel® Core™ i5-7200U Processor (2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 3.1 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)
Windows 10 Home Single Language 64
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA SSHD

NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated

Which criteria is best suited for games . Does lower cpu base frequency got something to do with the issue reg games. Was planning to take i5 8 th gen laptop with a base freq of 1.6 Ghz ( 4 cores ) with 2 gb gpu and 8 gb ram .. .. what s the recommeded cpu and gpu settings for high end games .. will i7 help perform better

For games it's mainly gpu but cpu, ram, and disk speed (depending on game) is important as well.

Without spending a good bit more, AAA gaming will require lowered resolution and settings.
