Can I recover files deleted with a factory data reset on an andriod phone?

I got locked out of my phone so I had to perform a factory data reset but I was wondering if there is a way to retrieve my lost files. (HTC)

I have a Android phone. a galaxy 3 and I was locked out of it and I have to have a factory reset it. All of my important pictures got deleted. Is there anyway I can get them back.
