Can I run Cs:Go on my laptop?

I have a elitebook 8440p and i want to play cs go. however, i wont waste money on the game if i wont be able to run it. i dont really care about the video resolution, only fps. so if i can run it at a good fps by running it on low id be fine with it. As far as specs go the processor is a Core i5-540M 2.53GHz. Its got 6 gigabytes of RAM and an HD i5 M540 graphics card. i dont know if it matters but its also a 64 bit. please tell me what fps it would run on and if its worth it to get the game. Please help. Thanks

You may be able to play the game but in the lowest possible settings and may just get low FPS. Here's a thread about what settings you need to play CS:GO in a decent FPS.

This GPU is way too bad, the CPU is too old as well. You can't hope to run it in a playable matter. Maybe 20 FPS tops but that would be a pain.
