im not looking for great graphics i have a gaming rig i just want enough to run games and tinkercad, cura when away. i am a complete noob to laptops i never liked them but need one now

World of tanks will likely run but Sniper elite 4 won't.

It is always best to ask the question before actually making a purchase.

Having said that, you made the right choice given a limited budget. The R7 (Bristol Ridge) integrated GPU is basically the best integrated GPU you can get in a laptop for less than $500.
