Solved! Using laptop dedicated GPU in desktop

Hello dear community,
I'm using Asus zenbook UX534FTC.
It has a HDMI 1.4 port,
Integrated CPU/GPU and also GTX 1650 MAX Q .

I'm trying to change my refresh rate of the external monitor i own( LG LG 27GN800-B ) which can support 2K 144Hz
But i can see my display settings use the integrated GPU and not the 1650 MAX Q, so I can't change to anything above 60 Hz in 2K.
I'm also using 2.0 HDMI cable.

You can see below "Display 3: Connected to Intel(R) UHD"

Do you have any suggestions?

The HDMI 1.4 is going to limit the refresh rate, not matter what HDMI cable you use.

The laptop has a usb-c with display support

Should be able to just get a USB C to displayport cable and use that.

There are "sub-models" of this laptop, mine doesn;t support display over type-c sadly.

Unfortunately without that you aren't going to get 1440p at 144hz.

In any case, I can see my presentation settings utilize the coordinated GPU and not the 1650 MAX Q, so I can change to nothing over 60 Hz in 2K.The HDMI 1.4 will restrict the revive rate, not make any difference what HDMI link you use.
