Solved! Can I run Gta V on 1.70 ghz??

I have i5 4210u which is quad core and has turbo boost upto 2.70 ghz and nvidia 840m 2gb with 8 gigs of ram... But when i run the game it shuts down after a while... what should i do??

Does the laptop shut down or does the game exit to desktop? Mind sharing where you got the game from? Also please state the make and model of your laptop. An SKU would help us two fold.

in your case i think your problem is temperature. download AIDA64 and test your PC and see if it shut down or not..
or your game's files may be corrupted. although your hardware is fully able to play gta v on medium settings.
