Can I run two graphic cards simultaneously?

In my laptop, I have two graphic processor one is intel 5500 HD graphics and another is Nvidia Geforce 740m can I run these graphic cards simultaneously?

the intel HD is for power-saving mode and nvidia 740m for high-performance mode
simply speakings, both GPU is used simultaneously, but the 740m is in idle mode unless you use high-performance mode

They are never both used simultaneously, nor can you do so.

Your laptop automatically switches from one to the other as needs demand.

The Intel one for Windows & undemanding applications.

The Nvidia one for apps specified in the Nvidia software.

But you can't combine them to use simultaneously.
