Can i upgrade MSI GE62 6QC-612NE Apache from i5 to i7 processor?

Is it possible to upgrade the laptops cpu to a better one? I heard a rumor about that the CPU is soldered in is it true or just a rumor?

Possible? yes.
But, the fact that you ask the question, i recommend to NOT doing it since you are not familiar with it.
why do you need i7? your i5 sucks badly?
i7 runs hotter but the performance upgrade is not worth considering your laptop is designed for i5 (heat problem).
