more then likely the chips used are bga ball grid array [yours is. Sockets Supported FCBGA1023, FCPGA988 ] and most times in laptops there soldered in and that's all there is to it - and why you buy a laptop type computer by the cpu installed out of the box

''The BGA is a solution to the problem of producing a miniature package for an integrated circuit with many hundreds of pins. Pin grid arrays and dual-in-line surface mount (SOIC) packages were being produced with more and more pins, and with decreasing spacing between the pins, but this was causing difficulties for the soldering process. As package pins got closer together, the danger of accidentally bridging adjacent pins with solder grew. BGAs do not have this problem if the solder is factory-applied to the package.''

the best I could find on the AMD [bga as well ]

I was trying to be sarcastic for on ffg7

and like usaf pointed out all cpu's need bios support and with that being soldered in its more then likely a proprietary bios and if you were to pull off a change out no guarantees all will work or boot '' and why you buy a laptop type computer by the cpu installed out of the box '' cause that's what you will be stuck with
