Can i use my Sayno DVD Player as a converter box and watch free tv

I do no have a converter box because it just stop workin so my question is ,I have a Sanyo Digital DVD Player can I watch free TV on it and do I need to hook up a antenna to get reception

Your DVD player only has outputs so there is no way for it to have a TV signal input into to it. Plus conversion of cable and TV signal is a fairly specific process, I don't think any DVD player can do that unless it specifically is advertised as such.

A converter box is another name for TUNER. DVD players don't have tuner. They are not that expensive tough.
