I am currently using a Bose Companion 3 Series on my PC and was curious if there is anyway I can add bookshelf speakers to use simultaneously.
I have seen some options where I could use the bookshelf speakers with an amp but would have to switch between the PC speakers and the bookshelf speakers.
Is there any way to get them to simultaneously play?

You will need a 3,5mm stereo splitter.

That will allow you to connect both the Companion speakers and the amp/bookshelf speakers at the same time.
Mixing speakers doesn't often work out like you think it will. Usually the better sounding speakers are better alone. The sub in the Companions will add some base which may or may not be an improvement.
