Can I use the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset with a different sound card

I recently got these headphones they are very good apart from only when I watch a video with talking in it there starts to be a background buzzing noise, it's very faint but I can still hear it and it can be annoying. The Hyperx cloud 2 come with a small external sound card, but I was thinking of getting a better internal one, but I didn't know if I can use a sound card because there is only one cable that is used for microphone and speakers there isn't two separate cables so can someone tell me if I can use a different sound card, even if mic and speaker are represented by one cable.

All you need is a TRRS to TRS converter cable like http/www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/945088-REG/startech_muyhsfmm_headset_adapter_m_m.html . It should work just fine after that.

Yep, confirming. With an adapter you can plug it into any sound card with the green and pink jacks.
