Can it stop booting if two antivirus guards are installed?

Hello,i installed Kaspersky
2011,and on restarting hte laptop,it refused to boot,it showed ie,"start windows normally,safe mode,etc"also before that there was another anti-virus that never worked,so decided to insatall this,wahat up?

Kaspersky will not allow you to install it if there is another antivirus already on the system.

Try asystem restore / rollback to before you installed it.

Uninstall the spy sweeper in safe mode.

You can't have 2 antivirus/antispyware programs on the same PC. They fight each other.
