I have an old sprint HTC Evo. Where I live, sprint and at&t have terrible reception. I heard the value of straight talk is that it runs off all towers.
So 2 questions.
Can I use my old htc Evo for smart talk?
Will it get reception from any tower that will work? Or just be limited to sprint towers?
Thank you.

The HTC Evo is strictly a CDMA device. It does not support GSM networks (such as AT&T). If you take that phone to Straight Talk, it will most likely only run off of the Sprint towers.
