I have been looking at VR for a while now and I would like to make sure my computer can run it well. The headsets that I have been looking for are the Lenovo Explorer and the Samsung Odyssey. Some games that I would like to play are Fallout 4 and Onward.

Here are my computer specs:
CPU: Ryzen 1500x
GPU: RX 580 8 GB
RAM: 8 GB DDR4

Thanks for your help

Here are the high specs for the Samsung Odyssey and you are well above them for CPU and GPU and bang on for RAM: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078173/

The Lenovo is a better value but you need to have an IPD (distance between pupils) in the standard range to use it. I have a large IPD and was not able to use the Dell Visor which is pretty similar.

Samsung is awesome though, the graphics are the best you can reasonably get right now (Vive Pro has the same resolutions but is insanely expensive right now). You can play Oculus games on it too with Revive... works great.

8GB RAM can be a bit tight in a handful of games - Skyrim VR and Lone Echo are the main examples I've run into. But you'll be fine in the great majority of games, and my 8GB is okay as long as I remember to close my browser.

The CPU and GPU are about where you want to be.
