so i bought this hard drive called my passbook ultra. when i tried connecting it to my tv and my tv would not detect it. i also tried it on the bluray dvd player and it also did not work. my brother has one too with 1.5tb mine is 1tb and his works perfectly fine but when i try mine it wont work SOMEONE HELP

Hook it up to a Microsoft Windows computer or Windows Laptop and let Windows format the drive.

I believe that you ahve to format it in Fat32.
