Can the Lenovo IdeaPad (59406579) play Minecraft at 40-60 fps?

I'm looking at this Lenovo Ideapad, and it's processor and RAM seem to be decent for what I need, but can it play Minecraft at 40-60 fps?

How many fps do you think this will get? It has a dual core i5-4200m processor at 3.1ghz.

If I allocated 3GB of RAM to Minecraft, Do you think then it would run pretty smooth? I've seen people on YouTube with worse processors and graphics cards get 100-150 fps.

You should be able to play Minecraft with an Intel HD 4600 graphics core. I generally recommend a Core i5 over a Core i3 CPU because Core i3 CPUs lacks Turbo Boost which means relatively low CPU clockspeed.

Click the following link for Minecraft running on a Sony Duo 13 laptop which uses a Core i5-4200U CPU with the Intel HD 4400 (probably about 15% - 20% slower than the Intel HD 4600). The game is running at 1920x1080 resolution.

Checking out the specs of the Lenovo IdeaPad 15.6-Inch Touchscreen Laptop, Black (59406579), it does in fact have a Core i5-4200m CPU which does have Turbo Boost. Considering that the screen is only 1366x768 resolution, the Intel HD 4600 will not have any issues running Minecraft at all.

I have a core i5 processor (4200m) but thanks so much for the info.
