Can we expect 970m/980m price drop?

We have 1060 gtx based laptops already for sale around 1400 pounds over here, yet comparable 980m laptops have not reduced in price despite an anticipated 50/60% performance gain with the 1060.

They are priced along similar lines.

Even 970m systems are still around the 1100 price.

Can we expect some 970/980m bargains over the next couple of months or should I just go for a 1060 based system.

Thanks

Solution
No.

Longer answer:
Laptops are sold as-is and cannot be upgraded, so their prices tend not to change too much even after a much faster version is out. In maybe a year or so you'll find some in the warehouse section, and at that time the price might be 30% to half off
