I want to buy a budget laptop, I found one, but it only has 32 GB of space. It has a MICRO SD port and a SD port. Could I know if I could make a MICRO SD CARD or SD CARD be the main/default storage for the laptop. (Including games, photos, videos, music, documents and exetra?
Thanks

If you do use a Micro SD or SD card for your storage, make sure you have a backup somewhere, as the cards can fail. And as said above, the OS must be on your internal drive.

yes you certainly could install windows on an SD card if it's large enough. two things to worry about though would be the relatively slow read/write transfer speeds and the fact that nand flash memory will "burn out" over time with enough read/write cycles.

What kind of laptop do you have? Only 32 GB of disk space. I know it's a SSD because you can't find a HD with 32 GB nowadays. You can get a 500 GB SSD for just over 100.00 to replace it.

Probably something like an HP Stream 13 or one of those Acer or Asus mini laptops
