Can you replace a laptop's graphics card?

Hi, I'm new to this kind of thing so I was wondering if it's possible to replace the graphics card of a laptop? The graphics card I want to put it is a GTX 1050 Ti low profile and the laptop is this one https/www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-thinkpad-14-refurbished-laptop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-320gb-hard-drive-black/5581188.p?skuId=5581188

Your Lenovo T420 laptop has the GPU soldered onto the motherboard. Short answer = NO! You could look into an external GPU dock like the GDC EXP Beast but please note, if you're within your warranty period, leave your laptop alone and buy a desktop to drop in the desktop grade GTX1050Ti. I'm curious though...can you pass on a link to the GPU you're looking at?
