Cancel accessing DVD to boot on an Aspire 5930

I have an Acer Aspire 5930G (BIOS v.2.16 up-to-date) and at boot / Windows startup, the DVD is accessed several times with a "disturbing" sound (2-4 times) opens up Windows Vista . I accessed the BIOS and I put the DVD to boot from the last position, but we found nothing to cancel any boot from the DVD.
There is a possibility to cancel all access DVD on startup? Can anything be done in BIOS or Windows?

Thats ALL done in the bios....you did SAVE SETTINGS before exiting the bios ?

hy,
yes i save the changes but the same.....still is verifying the dvd on boot 2-3 times...
i do not what to do...bios is a very simple one...not to many option
