Cannot connect to Internet May have removed a driver related to network adapter wireless modem

I was uninstalling a bunch of stuff and may have accidentally removed a driver or network adapter related to accessing wifi modem connection, bit silly of me and I'm not savvy enough to know how to get the missing driver? Back. I have put my bigpond cd in to try and reload the modem software and maybe get the driver but now my Ethernet isn't working. Any help would be appreciated
