Cannot find dvd drive windows 7

I used official MSFT software to install Win7 Ultimate Everything worked find during the install but now I can't see the DVD Drive I am running a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ240E. Will Sony or Microsoft be supplying a patch anytime soon? Any ideas? nt_mcp(at)hotmail.com

Have you tried deleting your upper ald lower filters?
