Cannot record my Desktop, PLEASE HELP!

For sooooo long now I've been looking for screen recorder with 60FPS for my computer. I finally found DXtory but my problem now (WITH EVERY SCREEN RECORDER) is that I cannot record my desktop, only in game videos.
Please help me fix the issue and not recommend a screen recorder as I've tried them ALL.
