Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to remove Trend Worry-Free Business Security from a Windows Server 2008 Computer. However when I click on Uninstall, and follow the prompts I receive the message below -

I have searched the internet for ways to 'turn off' the Microsoft Management Console but have come up empty.

If anybody knows how to overcome this uninstall issue can you please share?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

David

Hello... Microsoft Management Console is a Service... Task manager-services will show them to you.

The problem here is trying to get security software enabled to delete it self... That would be a "BAD Product"... More often, you have to go to their WEBsite for instruction on "how to remove it"... or a Clean OS install does the same thing.

Hello Ironsounds,

I am unable to locate the service for the Microsoft Management Console (either through Task Manager, or Administrative Tools > Services). Can you please provide further advice?

Kind Regards,

Davo
