I read on AVS Hardware forum that you should set your stb to output your tv
native format. My Toshiba dlp is 720P. The 6200 default is 1080i. So,
I tried to change to 720P. When I turn off the Mot6200 and press the menu
button, the menu flashes on the tv of 1or 2 sec. then the screen goes blank.

Is my stb broken? I'm I doing something wrong? Do I really need to do
this?

Well, I turned the stb on and off about 20 times and the menu finally stayed
on long enough to change the settings. I set output to 720P and 4:3
override to 480P. I've switched back and forth between my component and
hdmi inputs and I don't see a lot of difference. Also, 480i native input
quality seems to depend and which channel or network I'm watching. I'll
have to watch for a while before I decide to stay with these settings or go
back to the default.

I also have the 6200. It takes me 3 or 4 times to get the menu to come
up as well. I have a 42" Grand Wega Lcd and it seems to look better when
I have it set to 1080i. It is so close though, if I didn't know that the
setting was switched I probobly would never know
