A couple of days ago, I checked what graphics card i was using on my MSI GE70 PE Apcahe Pro, and I found out i had two of them, an Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600 and a GeForce GTX 860M. I have heard the GTX 860M is the best one, so I went to Nvidia Control Panel to change to it, but it wouldnt work. I choose the GTX and applied it, but it loaded for a second and stayed at the Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600.

What I need help with is to change to the GeForce GTX 860M.

In advance, thanks.

Solution
Start a game that actually uses the GPU, and the GPU will be used.

The laptop won't use the 860M unless it has to. It doesn't want to drain its own battery for no reason.
