Can't enter password

HP15 touchscreen laptop
Login in page opens. Password box is shadowed so I cannot access my computer

Are you trying using the touch screen or the attached keyboard? If the touch screen, try the keyboard. If that doesn't work, you may want to boot up with a USB keyboard attached to see if that will allow it.

Thank you but I did a hard reboot and that worked
