Solved! Can't get Vizio sound bar to work!

I hooked up my sound bar HDMI arc to my PHILIPS smart tv, then went to settings and turned on arc. And yet still no sound!!!!

Try turning the TV speakers off.
Try changing the TV audio output type.
Make sure you select ARC as the source on the soundbar.
Worse case you can try using the optical audio output of the TV.
