Can't Have Headphones and Speakers working at the same time?

I have a set of headphones that plug into the green jack on my PC and work fine, but I recently bough a set of speakers that have the same output, but I only have one green jack. However, I have 5 other jacks in the same area of my PC; a red, pink, blue, black, orange and a lighter green, yet plugging the speakers into any of these jacks hasn't worked. Do I need to buy an extension for my green headphones jack, or is there some way around this? Cheers.

Don't plug the speakers into the wrong jacks. Those are inputs for the microphone and so on, you risk damaging things.

Try a splitter.
