Can't install windows in freedos

I just brought a new laptop with freedos version but am unable to install windows as it shows only one error that "windows is unable to boot into the next phase of installation". I have tried win 7,8 and even vista original cd but is getting same type of error.

Are you booting directly from the Windows installation media? Or, are you trying to initiate the upgrade while booted into FreeDOS?
