Can't Tell If I Have a Virus or Not

Last night a random game I own had been launched and I thought maybe I misclicked. Then today, randomly, a User Account Contol popup for a file on my computer came up about an uninstall.exe file for Rivatuner (MSI owns it). Then another one popped up after it for MSI Afterburner with another uninstall.exe file. It wanted to make changes so I clicked no. Is this a virus or something else happening? I have never downloaded anything sketchy or weird so I am not sure.

We already know Windows is an OS that force updates to users, but still hard to tell. Have you got an updated antivirus on your computer?

I'll link a picture for what the pop up was. I also recently installed malware bytes but I usually don't use anti virus software.

Ok, yes that looks suspicious to me - don't grant it any access.

You should try to find out which file that is, locate it and upload it to virustotal so you can see if it is malicious or not.

What antivirus program are you using (if any)?

Upload the file to virustotal.com if you can to see if it's legit. Also, run a scan with Zemana Anti-malware/Emsisoft Emergency Kit.

You'd only get such a popup if you were running the application's bundled uninstaller related to it...

Did you install it, and were you attempting to uninstall it when you got the popup?

Have you tracked down the exact file and its path? If no, try scanning your PC with any antimalware or antivirus application and check out the results.
