How do you reset a tablet that won't turn off?

If it won't turn off, your best bet is wait until it runs out of power and then plug it in to charge. Be sure you leave it turned off while it is charging and only turn it back on when it is fully charged.

If the problem persists, when you turn it back on, then you may have a virus, malware, bad app, etc., on the tablet that is the cause. If this is the case, you would again need to let the tablet run out of power and then after charging try turning it on in "Safe Mode" and see if it works fine. If it does, then you definitely have something on the tablet that needs to be removed to fix the issue.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
