Cards write protection switch

Hello,
i am using sd card for my jvc everio camcorder model jvc everio camcorder no GZ-MS100EK but i am unable to make video because camcorder says CHECK CARD,S WRITE PROTECTION SWITCH does any body know what is that.

Look carefully at the card and see if there is a small lever.

A similar kind of issue can arise if the card has previously been used in another camera -- best to format the card in the new camera before use.

hi can i ask how to format a card .but its anew card it was in the phone but did,t save any thing in the phone or the card i am using this card with adaptor.

Using it in a phone could have caused the problem. Explore the menus on your camera -- one of them will be an option to format the card.
