Case Shocks

For some reason the case on my laptop shocks me. It is stronger when the laptop is plugged in, but it still shocks even when it isn't. Any suggestions?

its not one of those ones witht he metal grill at the front, its kind of rounded i kno a local store that sells laptops with that front and i get a shock everytime i touch them.

That's static. Get one of those magnet wrist bands.
