1. What is your budget?

Max price is $1000

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

no preference exactly but 15' would be my first chcoice. I'm OKAY with a 17' however.

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Doesn't really matter to me.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Portable. I want to use this as my everyday laptop. May or may not be lugging it around everyday.

5. How much battery life do you need?

Preferably as much as possible.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

I want to play games like Total war series, DOTA. I do not care as much about settings as long as I can Play them so I suppose medium.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

I will be using it for anything college and soft-core gaming. I will use it for writing papers and such.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

I know this shouldn't affect the price much, so probably 500GB. Again, I won't be using it for too much.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

No idea.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

I would like to keep it all 4 years of college without having to replace it.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

Basic. I might watch movies on it, but they won't be guaranteed to be disks.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

No brand preferences.

13. What country do you live in?

United States

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

I'm flexible on most of these things. I'm just looking for a good laptop to take with me to college.

Thank you in advance
