Cd drive not working

Hi,

Please can you help,I have a toshiba satalite pro a300-2c3. when a dvd is inserted it works fine but when trying to burn a cd nothing happens at all. any idea? thans.

You can try this Microsoft web page, http/support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems and click on the run now button. If that doesn't work you can try and delete the upper and lower filters and then reinstall your CD burning software. If that doesn't work then you may have a faulty CD/DVD drive.
