Cd to run on lg dvd player

Hello, I burnt a cd on my laptop. I did try to play in my LG player, but the player just did not respond🙁
Why... pl help.

You need to do special things to get a CD/DVD to play in a DVD player. It's not like a data disk that just gets something burned to it and then can be ripped to another computer.
