Hi, I need a cheap but good laptop for YouTube and gaming. Me and my brother want to start a youtube channel but if we want to do multiplayer, we need two computers. Our other laptop has a short in the charger port, (or whatever its called ;)) and so we need another laptop in a short time. We need one that probably has to be under $300, but I know that laptops that cheap aren't very good. Can anyone tell me a good but cheap laptop that is that much? It would help SO much! Thanks! :)

Gaming and $300 does not fit. What games exactly? You will probably need to find a used one or double your budget unless you are talking about Half-Life or Diablo 2.

Bro sorry but I do not get it

first of all do you really need a laptop?? Because any laptop in general IS MORE EXPENSIVE than a desktop computer while offering same performance.

Especially if you want to play games and not just play games, also preparing some stuff for youtube you definitelly can't expect good performance for $300

So my best recommendation is not to get a laptop. You never mentioned you needed it and for about $350 you have a customized build that does the job:

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ ($352.83)

Most of its specs are pretty basic but it's got a GTX 950 so you'll run games pretty fine and you're able to record your gameplays with shadowplay and do some rendering with CUDA cores.

You have 4GB o DDR4 RAM, perfect for any normal multitasking and good for games. Also a pentium dual core processor which is skylake and runs a 3.3 GHz in fact you could not get the maximum performance in some games bu generally speaking sopports any actual game.

Don't waste your money on a laptop, despite they have become cheaper they're still quite more expensive than a desktop due to hardware developers sacrifice performance through making them portable and fresh. Also you can upgrade that $350 PC if you want, yu do not have such posibility in a laptop at least when it comes to CPU and GPU.

If you have to move around for school or work there is nothing good for $300 but you have this for $500

Now if you want a laptop price to performance that covers your needs I recommend this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-P55K-BWCUK-15-6-inch-i7-5700HQ-Computer/dp/B012DT2MTC?ie=UTF8&keywords=laptop%20gtx%20965m&qid=1459213902&ref_=sr_1_5&s=pc&sr=1-5

as you can see it's $900 and performs worse in games than my $350 build

even cheaper you have this for $569:

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-E5-GeForce-Bluetooth-Windows/dp/B0167AFQJ6/ref=sr_1_15?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1459214100&sr=1-15&refinements=p_n_feature_seven_browse-bin%3A3012497011%2Cp_36%3A35000-91000%2Cp_n_condition-type%3A2224371011

and i can't suggest you something else for less price
