Low end gaming. 720 res, with IGP graphics. You won't be gaming anything recent on this.

Literally just want mid setting lol 40ish fps. And for downloading due to lack of internet connection. so I would use it for lol and downloads to transfer games to my main desktop with gtx1080 i5 7600k... well u get the idea. Would this run mid settings 40ish fps LoL?

Ok I only want to know about LoL no other game... Would this laptop play LoL smooth at mid settings. It's all I want to know... do not tell me about new games and it can't play gta5 max settings I know this. Just can it play LoL smooth mid settings?

I already said low end. Meaning low settings. Doesn't even have the current 6xx IGP. It is not a gaming laptop in any way.

Hey so my home internet well at that speed you can say it doesn't exactly exist for gaming...
I have played LoL in the past tho not for a while. And I want to get back into it
I am wondering if this could possibly be worth my while to buy a cheep laptop.
Laptop found for $298cnd obviously plus the 13% tax for 337$ cnd.
Reason obviously if I can't get internet connection here then I go to the connection. So I can download games movies etc to transfer to my desktop. Also to play league... I know laptop and gaming don't go hand in hand thats why i built a desktop. but I figure if a toaster can run league any laptop can. What do you think is the 337$ and worth it for downloading and league if I can't get connection at home?

The Pentium 4405U and it's Intel HD 510 graphics core is actually not too terrible. Based on the benchmarks linked below from Notebookcheck.net it actually performs better than the Intel HD 4400. The benchmarks for the Intel HD 4400 are from laptop with a Core i5-4200u or Core i7-4600u.

I have actually have a laptop with a Core i5-4200u and the Intel HD 4400 graphic core (and a dedicated CRadeon HD 8850m GPU). I tested the intel HD 4400 in a few games and it was actually not too bad. With some tweaks to graphic settings I was actually able to play games at 1600x900 resolution with pretty decent performance. Playing at 1920x1080 definitely resulted with less than 25 FPS in most cases.

The games I tested are:
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Fallout 3
- Mass Effect 2 & 3 (I am sure Mass Effect 1 works)
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Star Trek Online


If you are okay with purchasing a refurbished laptop and spending a little more money, then you can get a much better laptop than the one you are looking at. The following Acer laptop sells for approx. $388 CAD (excluding shipping); it has a Core i3-7100 and Intel HD 620 graphics core which is a pretty good increase in performance over the Pentium 4405u.
