I think that when people say that the porn industry has been a leader in innovation, they are just repeating the PR of that the porn industry has been pandering to justify their existence. My bet is that anything that the porn industry claims to have invented would have been invented anyway, or really was invented by someone or some other industry.

i can agree that 3d is probably a fad, but i disagree with your take on porn's help in developing the internet we know today. great strides have been taken in the last 10 years in the online porn industry. i think a majority of us were streaming movies online for several years now and they were right there with the embedded videos that plenty of other sites followed up with. i think it would be naive to suggest otherwise.

They need more time in editing and post-productio, they're not retaking every scene from a different angle.
