Choosing between 2 externals DACs, help me decide.

Due to some interference issues I'd like to pick up an external sound card for my system. The ones that caught my eye are these two:

What would be the main differences between the two? Does anyone have any experience with these, and would I experience and sound latency? If anyone has any other card suggestions let me know as well. The headset I'll be using is a Hyper X Cloud II with a Y splitter for separate mic and headphone input plugs.

the x-fi is meant for speakers and does not have virtual surround sound for headsets nor a strong amp for headphone use like the omni does. both are decent products but given you want to use the hxc, you might want virtual surround so the omni would likely be a better choice.
