-Sorry if there is another place for this-

I need a laptop that will only be used 100% for scanning craigslist and maybe watching a youtube video. Chromebooks are exactly what I need but there are two with in the price range that I would like to spend.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-11-6-chromebook-intel-celeron-2gb-memory-16gb-emmc-flash-memory-moonstone-white/8610161.p?id=1219351773817&skuId=8610161

the difference is 20 bucks and as the saying goes "20 bucks is 20 bucks" if all I'm going to be doing is looking up things online, articles/craigslist and the occasional youtube video. The cheaper Hisense seems legit.

Yes? opinions?

As much as I dislike Acer, it may be the better choice between the two devices, if only because it should be easier to RMA an Acer Chromebook than a Hisense one in general. Also, the Acer's Celeron CPU might prove faster than its rival's Cortex-A17.

The hisense has been a good experience. I think it was worth $150 dollars. Just pay attention to tiny details that seem minor until they bite you in the ass Hisense has no delete key, and in major stupid move, they put the power key where the delete key is supposed to be so out of habit, you will be powering off you chromebook as you type. Yes, you will adapt, but its really frusrating. I would also tell you to use one at wally's if you can because the touchpad is jus plain stupid. I have a disability and was astounded to not have a left and right click button.. Instead you get to learn ballet with you hands. The hisense is as good as the acer if the memory is the same. The display is very good. It feels solid and for this week at least, it is easy on the battery. Only note that if you may think of running linux for fun, it will not fair well on the ARM processor. If linux is a thought, you need an intel cpu. save the $20 bucks and get the hi sense and live without linux or a delete key 🙂 It will amaze you and do what you mentioned without any problems
