Oh, and just thought of something else, they will need to make double the amount of cans available then are out on the streets right now, because they'd have to take the cans with them to the sorting facilities in order to read the chips otherwise they'll never know who's trash is who's, AND they'd have to redesign the garbage truck fleet to take whole cans and carry empty ones. Seems like a piss poor idea.
