That's actually a pretty cool design. I'd buy one if it's reasonably priced (e.g. ~$30 or less.)

wtf is the deal with all these crazy minimalist clock designs that you have to spend 45 seconds just to figure out what time it is because you cant read the darn thing?

If your gonna go all out on a clock, have a water clock, or a clock powered by hamsters or something. or some uber sophisticated geared quarts clock that tells you moon phases, true north, and when the next lunar eclipse is.
