That's built-in to the desktop ActiveSync. To make sure its configured to do so, open AS on your
desktop and go to "Tools -> Options -> Sync Options -> Desktop" and make sure the "Synchronize
mobile device clock upon connecting" checkbox is CHECKED...

Additionally...Things to do/check to make sure Calendar appointments on the PPC and the desktop are
the same as far as time goes...

1. The time zone on both the PocketPC and the desktop are the same. Be careful with the PocketPC
time zone setting. Some time zones are the same offset from GMT but do not observe Daylight Saving
Time (DST). An example of this is Arizona in the US which is in the US Mountain time zone (GMT-7
Mountain US) but has its own time zone (GMT-7 Arizona) simply because Arizona does not observe DST.

2. Make sure the desktop time is configured to account for Daylight Saving Time (DST).

3. On the desktop make sure Outlook is configured correctly for the local time zone. If your running
Outlook 2002 then make sure you install SP2 to correct a problem with DST...

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=311774

Last but not least...

Use a time synchronization program on your desktop to maintain synch with public time servers world
wide... XP has this built-in... Other programs that you would use on other Windows OS platforms
are...

http://www.boulder.nist.gov/timefreq/general/softwarelist.htm

Public time servers...

http://twiki.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/WebHome

Personally I synch my XP machines once each hour to the time-a.nist.gov server...

If I paid for something like Nortan, I'd be shouting about it in every
email and newsgroup message I sent. AVG Free? Doesn't have the same ring
to it IMO. ;-)
