coaxial audio cable

my samsung bluray/dvd player needs an coaxial audio cable out but my sony tv doesnt have a coaxial input, only red/white audio inputs how do I connect it so the audio works?

list all inputs and outputs on both the dvd/br and tv. also listing the brands and model numbers would be helpful. you might want to list if you want audio from the tv speakers or if you ultimately are connecting to a home theater of any kind.

If you have connected the player with HDMI you don't need an additional cable since HDMI carries video and audio.
If you have it connected with component or composite video you will need a DAC like this one
