Coaxial connector broke off. Can I connect tv using HDMI cable?

coaxial connector broke off inside tv. Can I still connect cable tv using an HDMI port? What do I need to do this?

If your cable box has a hdmi output and your tv has a hdmi input, I don't see why not.
But I am a bit confused because the cable box to tv connection is not usually a coax cable.
If your tv has an integrated cable adapter, your only choice is to have the tv repaired.
