Im always having "codec not supported" errors on my dvd player i've been converting it so many times that will be compatible to my dvd player does it have something to do with the video codec or maybe the audio codec?

How are you burning what?

DVD players really only support mpeg2. Many newer ones support other things like Divx or Xvid. But if you are just taking something like a wmv or Mkv and burning it to disk it isn't likely to work. Unless you transcode it first.

Doing a quick search online... Are you saying you are putting your movies onto a USB stick then plugging it into the Samsung HT-C330? Does it support this? Most HT stuff I've seen only supports Jpegs through USB.
