Hey guys, I'm looking for a laptop around the 1000$ range.

Here are some of my preferred requirements.
-1080p resolution
-i7-i5 processor
-15.6" or less screen
-4-6+ hour battery life and/or ability to pop in an extended battery
-Able to play games like League of Legends on high-medium settings
-Will last at least 4 years
-Weight <5 lbs
-500 gb/ 1tb

I'm going off to college this fall and have been looking all over for laptops, I can't seem to decide on one. I'd like a laptop that is portable and practical for classes but one that I could also play games on during my down time, Thanks a lot

if you have an OS to hand then you can get this for under $1000. if you don't, it'll cost you $1070 ish.
its 4.6 lb, full IPS 1080p, I7 quad core 4710HQ, 860M graphics (it will max out league of legends, easily) , 8 GB RAM.
its 13.3'' so its small, that's the only way I could get around your weight limit.
oh and on idle you get 6.5 hours, watching a 1080p movie you get 4.75 hours. so you should 5 hours +.
you can buy a spare battery from the site for about $79.

Do you have any experience with Gigabyte laptops? I'll be honest I have never heard of them
